Update process

No automatic updates

Version 1.1.0 has no automatic update system; updates are done manually.

Steps

1. Make a backup (see Backup): database and files.
2. Compare the new ZIP's SHA-256 with the versions page on MyWap.az.
3. Unzip the new archive and overwrite files on the server. Do not overwrite: config/config.php, storage/ (logs, lock file) and public/uploads/ (uploaded images).
4. Log in to admin: Site settings → Database update. If there are pending migrations, press the button.
5. Check the site and the admin panel.

Rolling back

If something goes wrong, restore files and database from the backup. Because migrations only add, an older version can usually work with newer tables/columns, but this is stated in the CHANGELOG for each release.
