Creating the database

In the hosting panel create an empty database and a user (charset utf8mb4). The installer creates the tables itself — you do not need to import SQL manually.

Tables created

• users — administrator and member accounts (role, status, profile), signup_log — sign-up limit
• pages — pages
• posts — news and articles
• categories — categories
• media — uploaded image records
• menu_items — menu
• settings — site settings
• login_attempts — login throttling
• migrations — list of applied migrations

Safeguards

• Installing into a non-empty MyWapCMS database (one that has users) is refused.
• The installer never shows the database password on screen or in logs; on error only a generic message is shown.
• Migrations only add; there are no commands that delete existing data.

Migrations

Files database/migrations/NNN_name.sql are applied once, in numeric order. If a new version ships a migration, apply it from Site settings → Database update.
