In your hosting panel (DirectAdmin → MySQL Management) create an empty database and a user with full privileges on it. Note the database name, user and password. A separate database for MyWapCMS is recommended.
Unzip the archive and upload the contents to the server. There are two modes:
public/If your host allows it, point the domain's document root to the public/ folder. The other folders (app/, config/, storage/, etc.) stay completely outside web access.
Upload all files to public_html/ (or a subfolder). The root .htaccess routes requests to public/ and blocks browser access to app/, config/, database/, languages/, storage/, templates/, docs/. Make sure the .htaccess file was uploaded (it is a hidden file).
Open https://your-domain/install/ in a browser. The installer performs: requirements check → database details → administrator account → site name, language and time zone → table creation → completion.
storage/installed.lock file; the install/ address stops working.public/install/ folder from the server.config/config.php (mode 0640). This file must never be reachable from a browser.The document root must be public/, and unknown paths must go to index.php: try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?$query_string;
